EMERGENCY SERVICES

For those with emergency needs, several programs may be available to assist in meeting them, depending on accessible funds and a client's meeting certain criteria for the programs.

Both Care and Share (if open) and WRAP Programs consider emergency needs pertaining to energy or safety issues. An emergency medication fund may be able to assist with a one-time benefit, and the Schoharie County Council of Senior Citizens Inc. maintains a Discretionary Fund for emergency needs if an individual cannot meet the cost of those needs through any other program.
