Emergency Medical Service supports the volunteer ambulance and rescue squads by providing advanced life support medical assistance. All personnel are N.Y.S. certified Paramedics with certifications in AHA Pediatric and Adult Advanced Cardiac Life Support. The agency operates two fully equipped and certified Advanced Life Support First Responder vehicles.

Office Information

In addition to responding to emergency calls, the EMS office provides emergency medical education to the emergency medical services squads. The courses are offered in conjunction with the Schoharie County Ambulance and Rescue Squad Association. Courses offered are Adult, Child, Infant CPR, Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and monthly Continuing Medical Education lectures.
