Services Voter Registration: You can register in person at the Board of Elections at the County Office Building, Room 300, 284 Main Street, Schoharie, NY 12157 You can download a PDF version of the New York State Voter Registration Form. Print the form, complete and sign it. Then mail it to the Board of Elections at : P.O. Box 99, Schoharie, NY 12157. Starting with the General Election of 2003 all first time voters who registered by mail must present identification at the polls, either a current photo ID or a copy of a utility bill, paycheck, government check, bank statement or government document showing the name and address of the voter. This requirement is part of the new Federal Help America Vote Act. |
